In a 17th century village, a group of women struggle to survive on their own terms in a society where one label can mean poverty, imprisonment, and death. VINEGAR TOM is a raw drama that directly addresses the fight for control over the inherent power of women. An exciting early play by an acclaimed Obie Award winning author was created in association with a British feminist theatre who requested a play about witches.
