Guest Speaker Brian Kerle:
Brian Kerle stands as a revered figure in Australian basketball, leaving an indelible mark both as a player and a coach. His athletic prowess saw him compete in the men's tournament at the 1972 Summer Olympics and the 1974 FIBA World Championship in Puerto Rico. Transitioning seamlessly into coaching, Brian achieved remarkable success by guiding the St Kilda Pumas and the Brisbane Bullets to dual championships each in the National Basketball League (NBL). Recognising his exceptional contributions, he was honoured in the NBL Hall of Fame in 2006 (now the Australian Basketball Hall of Fame).
