SCBWI SA Winter Workshop 2024

SCBWI SA's Winter Workshop is back with an in-person event! To be held in the beautiful new Blackwood Library, with interstate illustrator & author Judy Watson, SA's fabulous picture book author Jane Jolly, & SA's fabulous picture book illustrator & author, Ross Morgan, followed by optional critique groups. Come & be inspired!The workshops will run from 10.30am-2.30pm, with critiques running from 2.30pm-3.30pm. Please select which critique group you would like to join (or 'not applicable' if you do not wish to attend).
CRITIQUE SUBMISSION DETAILS:
- Picture Book: Submit manuscript / picture book dummy
- Middle Grade: Submit first 1,000 words
- Young Adult: Submit first 1,000 words
- Illustrations: Please bring your portfolio with you on the day

*Submissions will be shared to peers in your selected groups 1 week prior to the event - this will allow time for everyone to review each others
