Corn Nut Creek 'Hearts In Bloom' Album Launch
About
Corn Nut Creek’s much anticipated album ‘Hearts in Bloom’, is a storyteller’s account of blossoming to reveal one’s true self. Through a lush tapestry of vocal colours and instrumental textures, the songs on ‘Hearts in Bloom’ explore the divinity within the natural world and our unique connection to it with themes that celebrate transformation, resilience and self-acceptance. Bound through sisterhood and a mutual love of snacks, Tanya and Danielle met in Hong Kong over ten years ago and have been inseparable ever since. Their original music is inspired by Appalachian folk traditions. The Song ‘Corn Nut Creek’, from their new album ‘Hearts in Bloom’ came in one week after it’s release at #6 in the AMRAP Australian Community Radio Charts and remained in the top 10 for two straight weeks.
Sylvie Rigby is a young multi-instrumentalist born into the heart of regional Victorian folk music. She spent her childhood falling asleep out the back of her family's gigs, subconsciously absorbing bits and pieces to form her own unique, haunting indie style of songwriting accompanied by various instruments.
Come join us for a very special night where we will be playing all the songs from our new album (and then some) with a full band and some very special guests. Sylvie Rigby will be playing a support set.
