WA Roller Derby Home Game 1: Sonic Dooms vs Atomic Sirens
In the first match of 2024, WA Roller Derby returns to the arena with the Sonic Dooms facing off against the Atomic Sirens.
Kicking off the WARD season, this isn't a match to miss.
We have a bar and bake sale available for all of your delicious treats, and drink needs.
Wear red in support of the Sirens, or blue in support of the Dooms. Signs are welcome!

DOORS OPEN at 2:30pm
FIRST WHISTLE at 3:00pm.
Never seen roller derby before? It's easy! Each team fields 4 blockers and 1 jammer each jam. The jammers must escape the pack of blockers, and then score a point for each member of the opposing team they legally pass every lap after the initial. The blockers do their best to help their jammer and stop the opposing jammer. The first jammer to escape the pack is declared lead, and can call the jam off whenever they want, otherwise it will end after 2 minutes.
