Elijah – A Man like us.
Elijah suddenly appears on the scene in 1 Kings 17, then leaves public ministry. Years later, he takes on the bad guys in a spectacular fashion, and then wrestles with doubt and depression. Timely lessons for men today.
Ian McGrath is our facilitator for the weekend. Ian studied at Moore College and was ordained in Brisbane. After a curacy at Dalby, he was rector of Bowen in NQ. He was then called to service with BCA in the Upper Clarence of Nthn NSW and Roxby Downs in outback SA. Then to Moree in Nth West NSW and back to BCA as Regional Officer for QLD and Nthn NSW. He was the Associate Priest at St Andrew's, South Brisbane, and is currently the Rector of St Phil's Rochedale. Ian is married to Glenda. Their 3 children are all happily married, and they are blessed with 7 beautiful grandchildren. The most important thing is that they all love and serve Jesus.
$95.00 for the full weekend;
$45.00 for day trip only.
Cost includes basic accommodation, all meals and activities.
