WeedSmart Week brings together a wealth of knowledge and experience from local and interstate growers, agronomists, and technology experts โ putting the spotlight on herbicide resistance and weed control.
WeedSmart Week is coming to Port Lincoln, South Australia. From July 29th to July 30th, 2024, join us for an engaging event designed to empower growers and advisors with the WeedSmart Big 6 messages.
The program includes a Forum day, farm tours and a machinery expo, where youโll witness how forward-thinking growers are successfully implementing the WeedSmart Big 6 tactics to combat herbicide resistance and safeguard their businesses.
During the technology and machinery expo, attendees will explore cutting-edge innovations, including the latest sprayer and weed detection technology, as well as various harvest weed seed control implements.

Monday 29 July (Day 1): Forum, Nautilus Arts Centre
Hear from leading agronomists, experts and innovative growers who are implementing the WeedSmart Big 6 tactics to control weeds.
The day will end with a complimentary sundowner.
Tuesday 30 July (Day 2): Machinery Expo and Farm Tours
At the Machinery Expo, growers will speak about their experiences with the latest in spray and camera technology, harvest weed seed control and other mechanical weed control tools. Tech experts will be available for audience questions.
Growers of the Eyre Peninsula will showcase their farms and share their ways of controlling weeds. The Machinery Expo will be held at one of the farms.
A BBQ will round off the day after the expo.
Return bus transportation from Port Lincoln to the farms is included in the ticket.
REGISTRATIONS
Registration will include entry to the forum day, machinery expo and farm visits, full catering for both days, and return bus transportation from Port Lincoln to the farms. No single day tickets will be available. All tickets are GST inclusive. Early bird tickets will be available until June 28.
