In true Theatre of the Winged Unicorn tradition we present this Winter Dreaming program celebrating the work of two very clever English, musicians, writers and performers, in the studio at Ceres. Flanders and Swann were highly skilled, topical and popular artists through the mid 20ieth century. Writing and performing their own material they entertained thousands of audience with their songs about, people, society, politics of the day and also the more exotic animal species on the planet. Donald Swann too, was a serious composer of the art song and a very fine pianist. The program is devised and directed by Allister Cox OAM, in the intimate space of The Scarecrow Patch Studio in the village of Ceres It is a Cafe Concert and audience are invited to bring their own refreshments. Tea and coffee available at interval. Performers are Tim Hetherington, Jocelyn Mackay, Carol Fogg, Brad Beales, Allister Cox and Sonoka Miyake on the piano. This will be a lovely program of talent and fun.Location
