Celebrate the exhibition opening of Julie Millowick: Surrounding on Saturday 24 February, 2pm at Castlemaine Art Museum.Julie Millowick: Surrounding exhibits a curated selection of the artist's significant body of work including a new series seen for the first time, examining the beauty of Central Victoria’s landscape in tumult and recovery.
Julie Millowick is a localist in the best sense of the word, an artist who is deeply embedded in the place where she lives. Over many years, Millowick has documented the environmental legacy of goldmining around her home near Fryerstown in Central Victoria.
