2024 LHC Year 8 & 9 Dance - St Joseph's - Gregory Terrace

Lourdes Hill College invites Year 8 and 9 students to come and enjoy a great evening at our 2024 Lourdes Hill College Middle School Dance. We will have light refreshments and drinks available for sale.

DATE: Friday 24 May
TIME: 6:00 – 8.00pm
COST: $10.00 | light refreshments, snacks and drinks will be available for purchase using cash or eftpos
WHO CAN ATTEND: Years 8 & 9 students ONLY
RSVP: Friday 24 May by 3.00pm
LOCATION & DIRECTIONS: Parent drop-off and pick-up are from Gate 2, 86 Hawthorne Rd, Hawthorne.

• Before the commencement of the dance please walk your son to the Big Tree (outside the Good Samaritan Centre, GSC).
• For pick-up, please wait outside the Good Samaritan Centre, GSC at 7:50pm.
• Parents are not able to drive onto the College grounds for drop-off or pick-up. There is limited street parking around the school (Brisbane City Council restrictions apply).

REGULATIONS: Please note that due to safety regulations, numbers attending will be STRICTLY limited to INVITED SCHOOLS only. No other girls’ schools are invited. Supervision will be supplied by Lourdes Hill College Staff, Security and Police.
Students MUST have pre-purchased a ticket and have their current school photo ID for entry to the dance.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

• Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn.  No thongs, shoes must be sturdy and predominantly covered.  No offensive clothing is allowed
• Organisers reserve the right to inspect all bags
• NO alcohol, illicit drugs, cigarettes, vapes or chewing gum
• NO glow stick products permitted
• Coats and bags to be left in the cloakroom - please do not bring large bags such as overnight bags or back packs
• Bad language and behaviour will not be tolerated
• As this is a school event, the LHC Digital Code of Conduct applies - no photos or filming to be taken or posted to social media
• MOBILE PHONES TO BE KEPT IN POCKETS
• Directions from supervisors, security and Police must be always followed
• Doors open at 6:00pm, arrivals after 6:30pm not be permitted unless previously arranged with Lourdes Hill College
• Parents collect students from the entry to the GSC at 8:00pm
• For safety reasons, we recommend you walk your son to the GSC entry before the dance.  For pick-up, please wait outside the GSC at 7:50pm
• The dance ends at 8:00 pm and no students may leave before 8:00pm unless pre-arranged with Deborah Young, EA Middle School dyg@lhc.qld.edu.au
