Investing in Women in Brimbank. Celebrate with us on Wednesday 6 March.International Women’s Day (IWD) is a day when all women across the globe are recognised for their achievements.
Brimbank City Council in partnership with Watergardens Town Centre is excited to present an event jam-packed with inspirational speakers, entertainment and a delicious afternoon tea.
The event will feature a keynote address by Maria Dimopolous, Board Chair of Safe + Equal before guests will listen to a panel discussing this year’s theme - Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress.
Panellists include:
Gazal Kamali, Franchise Business Owner of Quest Watergardens,
Madaesya Palavi-Lyons, young Aboriginal woman and Brimbank City Council staff member, and
Ngoc Nicky Chung, Chief Executive Officer Australian Vietnamese Women’s Association
Attendees are welcome to begin arriving at 2.30pm. Our event will commence at 3pm sharp.
