Asik Veysel Concert
Aşık Veysel was a famous Turkish Falk poet and musician. The 2023 year was attributed to his honour by UNESCO. He was born in 25 October 1894 in Şarkışla, Sıvas, Turkey. He lost his eyesight early in his childhood. Aşık Veysel died in 1973, aged 79. He has left behind countless poems and songs that acclaimed widely by whole world. Concepts of happiness and sorrow, hope and despair, death and life, harmoniously combine in his poetry.
