Site Visit & Seminar at Queensland Government Hydraulics Lab

About
Join us for an enlightening afternoon at the Queensland Hydraulic Lab (QGHL), where we'll explore the intricacies of hydraulic engineering through presentations by industry experts, including Paul Boswood (QGHL), Sam Knight (SMEC), Alex Atkinson (QGHL), and John Ryan (QGHL). The program kicks off at 1:45 PM with a warm welcome from PIANC and QGHL, offering a brief overview of PIANC's technical publications related to the physical modelling of port and maritime infrastructure. Gain valuable insights into coastal modelling projects, wave monitoring for ports, and more. After the conference room sessions, embark on an immersive site tour, exploring both the monitoring shed and physical modelling areas. The event concludes at 3:50 PM, and we invite you to continue networking at the Full Moon Hotel from 4:00 PM onwards, where a bar tab and share platters will be provided by PIANC and our event sponsor, SMEC.
PIANC events count towards your Professional Development Plan (PDP).
