Lancefield Heritage Walk – Then and Now
About
Another event in April following "Live and Local @ Lancefield", the Lancefield Mechanic’s Institute invite you to join us for a walk to discover a sense of our township’s history.Along the walk you will look at various buildings and sites, uncover their history and be introduced to some characters and identities.
Participants will meet at the Foyer entrance of the Lancefield Mechanics' Institute on The Crescent.
The walk will start at 2pm from this entrance so please try and be 15 minutes early (1:45pm).
The walk itself will be around 2 hours, followed by afternoon tea in the Annex space of the Mechanics' Institute.
So, bring your walking shoes, sun hat and water bottle and be entertained by Bronwyn Wilson - Bronwyn is a freelance tour guide leading walking tours in Melbourne and surrounds and has a special interest in Lancefield being a long time local.
