Archery beginners course Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th April
About
This course comprises 2 x 3.5-hour sessions: Monday 15th & Tuesday 16th April, 9am-12:30pm both days. When booking, please check that you are able to attend both sessions. This course covers the same syllabus as the course held on Sundays. It is shorter due to a lower number of participants.You will learn about:
* safety and archery etiquette
* warming up
* types of archery and equipment
* some archery history
* and of course - how to shoot using a recurve bow.
When you complete the course, you will have the skill to shoot up to 20m. You will receive a certificate of eligibility to join Illawarra Archers, and be given some personalised information to help you feel confident in buying your own equipment.
Illawarra Archers provides all necessary equipment. Your coaches are qualified under Archery Australia regulations. When you have submitted your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with further information about the course.
