An opportunity to work with Joe Frost. Joe is lecturer at National Art School Sydney, practicing painter and freelance writes for art magazines. This one day, intensive workshop is an opportunity to take stock of your practice and enhance your visual expression on many levels.
Morning session Joe will lead a group review to identify key visual & creative issues in each participant’s work. The emphasis will be on recognising the potential and identifying the problems in the work.
The afternoon session students will commence a new work (or to re-work) in light of the review, supported by focussed, one-on-one discussion with Joe.
You will be invited to re-consider any habitual assumptions that are blocking your practice and given practical advice on how to begin subtly refining or thoroughly re-inventing your approach to form, materials and imagery.
