Heritage Talk with David Radcliffe
About
The origins of post-war manufacturing in Fishermans Bend can be traced back to pioneering engineers, designers and makers of machines, in Port Melbourne during the first half of the 20th century. They created all manner of food processing equipment, excavators to build vital infrastructure, cranes and conveyors used in numerous industries and aircraft when our nation was threatened.David Radcliffe will present the personal stories of four immigrant engineers, innovators and entrepreneurs who helped shape the industrial landscape of this area, as featured in his book, Making It Here.
