On a blessed Thursday night in the blessed month of Ramadan, Mizan Avenue and Benevolence will Insha Allah be hosting a Ladies only Qiyam Ul Layl centred around the theme of Du'a and honouring the woman. Shaykha Ieasha Prime will be providing us reminders along with Ustadha Saara, Quran recitation, prayers, group dhikr and Nasheed.Bring your blankets and pillows to rest on.
Children are welcome. Under 7 is free. No childminding is provided.
Suhoor will be provided. Please let us know of any dietary requirements.
Who is Shaykha Ieasha Prime?
Ieasha Prime is a world renowned speaker and scholar. She is the founder and Executive Director of Yan Taro Project, and currently serving as the at Resident Scholar & Curriculum Director Islamic Society of Baltimore (ISB). She converted over 20 years ago and teaches courses on traditional knowledge, the challenges of race and gender in the Muslim community and Islamic Spirituality. She is a proud wife and mother of three.
