This term in CBL we have been exploring the Big Idea of “Community”. We have learned about the different ways communities are created and what helps them succeed. We recognised that food brings communities and people together and is a way of caring and showing appreciation for those around us. The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program is a special part of our 3/4 level that brings many people in our community together.The students have decided they would like to support the SAKG program by making a ‘WPPS Recipe Book” filled with special recipes that they make with their families. They are also organising a special afternoon tea that will help raise funds to go towards resources for the program.
