In-centre Schools: Mission Control
Where will you work in the future? Down the road? Across the sea? Or maybe, up in space? The space sector is set to triple in size by the year 2028 and will plays a role in many diverse industries including agriculture, meteorology, precision mapping and health. What industries would it take to make Mars our home?
The Mission Control Program combines Civics and STEM skills in a two-part workshop, delivered at Parliament of South Australia and the Australian Space Discovery Centre.
Session capacity: 30 students
Recommended for: Year levels 6-10
Part 1: From Parliament to Mars (90 min) delivered at Parliament of South Australia
Part 2: Life on Mars (75min) delivered at Australian Space Discovery Centre.
Teachers can now book their class in to complete both parts on select Tuesdays during Term 1.
