Nestled upriver on the banks of the South Pine River, Kumbartcho Sanctuary is a 6-hectare site allowing visitors to explore and appreciate rainforest ecosystems.
Our own member Tina will be our guide and hostess for the morning.
Kumbartcho environment centre
The centre has a range of things to see and do including craft activities, a four foot long fish tank and nocturnal display. Entry is free.
Community nursery
The community nursery grows local native plants for community projects and for planting in reserves, parks, schools and public open spaces. It is open to the public.
Ladies please wear comfortable walking shoes, should you decide to go on the bush walking trail. Don't forget your hat and sunscreen.
Afterwards we shall meet at Cafe 63 Eatons Hill for lunch. (At own expense)
