Amarillo are an alternative country/folk duo. Amarillo songs are at times hushed and initimate, with fingerstyle acoustic guitar paired with dark tremolo electric guitar, soaring lap steel and ethereal vocals. Drawing on influences from artists such as Gillian Welch, Dave Rawlings, Laura Marling, Mazzy Star and the British folk of the 1960s.
