KLUMPES AHMAD - IN BED WE TRUST - 15YR Anniversary Concert
In February '09, Klumpes Ahmad released an experimental duo album of guitar, piano, rhodes and electronic experimentation. Hours of improvisation were coalesced and edited and finally expertly mixed to ½” Tape by Richard Belkner.
To celebrate, Sia and Adrian will reunite to improvise again with the familiar exploratory sound palette.
They will dust off the effects pedals and contact microphones and plunge the listener into the world they created all that time ago. But don’t expect too much nostalgia - more a continuation of their many years of music where beauty and noise collide.
For the second set, Klumpes Ahmad will be joined by long-time collaborator Evan Dorrian (drums/percussion) who performs alongside Sia and Adrian in Spartak and Tangents respectively.
