Do you flex your cooking skills when hiking? Then you’re invited to a competition with a twist. Join us at Westella with your favourite Tassie ingredients & sauté them into a hiker’s gastronomic feast using the essential bushwalking tool – the Trangia! The dish best matched to Westella Pinot Noir will become the inaugural Westella Trangia Champion.Entry price is for a single competitor OR team. Entry price includes a bottle of Westella Pinot Noir.
BYO Trangia (Trangia can be provided, contact Westella - 48 hours required)
Cooking to be undertaken in the vineyard, regardless of weather.
Cook-off commences at 12:50pm.
Meals must be cooked within 45 minutes.
No pre-cooked meals, some assembly is required.
BYO ingredients.
Judges decision is final.
All camping props welcome, especially if it helps elevate your experience and cooking!
Prize is a 6 bottle pack of Westella wines per single competitor/team.
