A Glint Of Koi showcases significant artwork from the Central Coast Art Collection. The collection is guided by a vision to support and engage contemporary Australian artists with a focus to collecting art with a connection to the Central Coast.
Art Money’s Libby Knott and Hannah Clayton Atkin from Swan Deverell Auctions will talk tips on how to start a collection, the art of selection, navigating the art market and the future of collecting.
Following the conversation local Glint Of Koi exhibiting artists Sally Robinson, Claire Tozer, and Beverley Smith will talk about their work and the significance of being supported in our local art community.
Libby Knott is a Senior Manager at Art Money and has over 20 years experience working in the contemporary art industry as a curator and manager in some of Australia’s most reputable commercial galleries including Olsen Gallery and Australian Galleries. Libby is an experienced art collector and advisor in the ever-changing art market and helps people build their art collections.
Hannah Clayton Atkin has over 20 years of experience with fine and decorative art in museums, archives, private collections, and at auctions. She holds a BA (Honours) in Heritage Studies (Leicester, 2005); an MA (Distinction) in Museum and Artefact Studies (Durham, 2006); an LLB in Law (Macquarie, 2016); and an Antiques Diploma (Asheford Institute, 2020). With a strong sense of business ethics and integrity, Hannah is also a PACC (Professional Appraiser Code of Conduct) Certified Appraiser within the field of antiques and collectables.
