The Tasmanian branch of the Australian Garden History Society is holding the first of their 2024 lecture series at the Tramsheds in Launceston. "Every Garden is a Story" - Jean Elder in conversation with Meg Bignell & Alice Bennett, author & photographer of the book "Tasmanian Gardens" followed by Emma van Lint, landscape architect with Launceston City Council, "Greening the Urban Canopy".
Lunch and visit to the extensive gardens of Claremont at East Launceston with 100 year old trees is included.
