About

In this workshop, create your own small ‘twined’ basket over a soft flexible frame with a mix of locally gathered plant fibres, such as flax, red hot poker, cordyline, bulrush and tall spike rush. The workshop includes instruction in material preparation, setting up your frame, how to ‘twine’ around the frame and detailed steps in finishing the rim of your basket using the three round looping method.
