P&F Parent Forum - Adolescent Nutrition

Mount St Benedict College will be hosting a presentation focusing on "Fearless Food – how to talk to your teens about food, nutrition and the joy of eating", and all MSB parents and carers are encouraged to attend.

As parents, we want the best for our kids, and this includes helping them to eat food that will nourish them now and into the future. But what happens when our daughters (and us!) are bombarded with mixed messages from influencers, media, the food industry, and peers, about “good foods” and “bad foods”? How do we help our daughters to enjoy all food, without guilt or shame, while still supporting them to mostly eat a wide variety of nutritious foods?

Join us for an information session from Katie Booth, Accredited Practising Dietitian (and mother of two teenagers) that aims to help you find ways to talk fearlessly about food with your teens while still encouraging them, subtly, to eat more veg!
