A spoken word show presenting 11 artists as they graduate from a 12-week spoken word course with Fleassy Malay.This event is the great graduation night and epic showcase of 12-weeks of work, courage, and creativity.
The performers range from beginners taking their first steps onto the stage, to seasoned performers who have deepened and honed their craft.
Let us take you on a journey of reclaiming power, sensuality, intrigue, discovery, and lived-experience as each of the students brings to the stage a piece they have crafted especially for the night.
Join us for an evening of nurturing and encouraging these emerging voices of Spoken Word whilst also putting all our applauses together to celebrate their achievement.
Venue is Wheelchair accessible. Hearing Loops available from Library staff, please arrive early to organise them.
