FCO is back with 2 great works and a new soloist.Beethoven’s magnificent 3rd Piano Concerto featuring pianist James Dekleva, a finalist for the International Beethoven Piano Competition Vienna 2021.
In his day Paul Wranitzky was one of the most highly regarded musicians in Europe. However today he is all but forgotten, overshadowed by his contemporaries and friends Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven. But his sunny Symphony Op52 deserves to be rediscovered.
