FCO is back with 2 great works and a new soloist, James Dekleva playing Beethoven’s magnificent 3rd Piano Concerto. Dekleva was a finalist for the International Beethoven Piano Competition Vienna 2021.The concert opens with Paul Wranitzky's sunny Symphony Op 52, a largely forgotten piece which deserves to be rediscovered.
In his day Wranitzky was one of the most highly regarded musicians in Europe. Today he is overshadowed by his friends Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven. FCO loves finding these treasures and we hope you do too!
