During his two-week residency, Dr. Stager will be hosting a variety of engaging opportunities for our school community: Including two Family workshops
Workshop 1: Suitable for students and their families in Year 3-12
Making and Coding with the Microsoft Microbit!
During this workshop, students and families will have the opportunity to dive into hands-on projects with the micro:bit, learning fundamental programming concepts and design principles. Under Dr. Stager's expert guidance, participants will harness the power of this versatile device to spark their creativity and deepen their understanding of technology as a tool for problem-solving and self-expression. This workshop promises to be an enriching, eye-opening experience for all.

Fusing Art and Mathematics
This workshop will highlight the importance of integrating diverse ways of thinking and learning. By fostering an environment where students can blend analytical, creative, and interdisciplinary approaches, participants will unlock new pathways for innovation, problem-solving, and holistic understanding. Dr. Stager's expertise in constructionist pedagogy will guide participants in crafting meaningful, integrative learning experiences that prepare students for the complexity of the modern world. Use modern knowledges to create interesting artworks and cross the boundaries between Art and Mathematics!
