Concert Sunday, 16th of June 2024Join the Maroondah Symphony Orchestra for an unforgettable afternoon of classical splendor in the heart of winter. Led by Maestro Willem van der Vis, prepare to be spellbound by the delicate beauty of Schubert's Rondo in A for Solo Violin and Strings, and the virtuosic brilliance of Saint-Saëns' Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, Op. 28, both featuring the mesmerizing talents of violinist James Armstrong. Conclude the afternoon with the orchestral grandeur of Mozart's Idomeneo Overture and revel in the dynamic energy of Beethoven's Symphony No. 2, Op. 36.
