APA WINTER 2024 Percussion Ensemble School
About
Winter Percussion Ensemble School is a program aimed at helping percussion students improve their percussion ensemble skills. The program covers different music genres, with an emphasis on developing solid technical fundamentals and providing exposure to percussion ensemble playing. Participants will learn strategies for enhancing their reading skills and proper techniques for playing mallets and other percussion instruments.The tuition fee includes the following:
• All classes and ensemble rehearsals
• Masterclasses and workshops conducted by guest presenters
• Access to two 5-octave marimbas and other high-end keyboard percussion instruments and orchestral percussion
• The use of mallets and auxiliary percussion instruments
• An official Certificate of Participation
• Complimentary morning (Group A) and afternoon (Group B) tea, fruits, and snacks.
