About
Canvas to Catwalk Fashion Showcase is a fashion parade with a difference. Be the first to see new fabric designs created by Bribie Island young artists, fashioned into garments designed by Red Ridge the Label.
Ten girls were invited by the Pumicestone Indigenous Education and Employment Council (PIEEC) to participate in a workshop directed by Aunty Jean Barr Crombie and Aunty Joyce Crombie, celebrated central Queensland artists from Birdsville, Queensland.

By interpreting their artwork in fashion, the artists are discovering a way of telling stories without words.
