Reconciliation Walk

About
Join us as we walk for reconciliation. Inspired by The Long Walk, the Chewton Primary School community with the support of Nalderun invites you to walk along the Leanganook Walking Track. There will be stops along the way with story boards and thought-provoking reflections to look, listen and learn about identity, kinship, connection to Country, reconciliation, truth telling and celebrating Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people who have worked for change. We finish at Me Mandook Galk (The Grandmother Tree), where we make a commitment to be a voice for generations.
Walkers are asked to wear red, black & yellow.
Departs from the Chewton CFA (Mount Street) 12pm
Please bring a gold coin donation on the day - this will help us cover costs
