Cyber Security – from Research to Practice
Join Edith Cowan University for the second event in the 2024 ECU Lecture Series.
In this lecture, Helge Janicke, Professor of Cyber Security; Deputy CEO and Research Director of the Cyber Security Cooperative Research Centre, will delve into modern cyber security, and research challenges, that arise from Artificial Intelligence and Quantum-Computing. He will explore cyber security in relation to industry-led initiatives, such as Industry 4.0, and autonomous systems, that are transforming our modern economies and our increasingly digital society.
Professor Janicke will also highlight the impact that cyber security research can have on our economy and the digital transformations that have enabled the development of new security technologies. He will discuss the relationship between security, safety, and trust – which are all essential for the widespread and continued adoption of new technologies at scale.
This event is open to the public. Registrations are essential.
