About
Immerse yourself in the works of an Afghan refugee and artist, Afghan food, traditional music, culture and workshops all within an authentic Afghan village environment. Be consumed in the work of artists on display, buy something from a seller, savour Afghan delicacies at a food stall, listen to Afghan music and be part of special workshops and activities all part of the experience. Notably, the event will showcase the artwork of Afghan artist and refugee, Zainab Kazemi. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with her work, hear her insights on art and life and support a recipient of the Emerging Leader Award from the Office for Women in South Australia. Proceeds from the exhibition and event will contribute to the life of the artist and assist with refugee support in South Australia with Circle of Friends Australia Incorporated.Location
