Purpose: 

• Provide Aged Care HR professionals of the Northern Sydney Region to network, and to share with, and learn from, their industry colleagues.

Topics for discussion: 

• Has the Australian government's holistic support to the sector helped to ease workforce pressures in aged care?
• Has the low unemployment rate reflected the employment capacity in the aged care sector?
• What local successes, challenges and ideas can we share to address workforce pressures?

What we hope to achieve

• Gather local, informed insights on whether the Government's holistic approach is working or not working and where? (residential, in-home, skills specific, diversity specific, other)
• Share local strategies that are working for local agencies
• Share the local challenges experienced, and ideas to address them
• Identify local issues that need to be shared with Departmental representative
