About
Originally from Barraganyatti on the Mid North Coast of NSW, Sam Buckley lived in Sydney and Melbourne for the last 16 years performing in high-level bands. He toured internationally and performed at many music festivals in Australia.Sam is currently embarking on his solo career and recording his debut album, Blue Ocean, with Lester Snell and Royal Studios in Memphis. This is a very exciting time and a privilege to be working with industry luminary Lester and the Stax players behind the success of artists such as Albert King and Al Green. Title track off the album and debut single, Blue Ocean, made it to #7 in the AMRAP Top 10 Regional Chart and single #2, Rock Me Baby, also made it into the AMRAP Top 10 Regional Chart. Sam has supported Australian music icons: Ray Beadle, Ash Grunwald & Katie Noonan on their tours. He featured at the Fanzone Stage at the Tamworth Country Music Festival this year and was the front cover feature for Found Regional Magazine.
