An informal event to display what our students in READY SET DANCE, READY SET BALLET,READY SET ACRO and GOODHEW DANCE have been learning in their classes in Term 1 and Term 2

WHAT IS THE MID YEAR CONCERT?

A  fun and informal performance opportunity for all students from READY SET DANCE, READY SET BALLET, READY SET ACRO and GOODHEW DANCE to show family and friends what they have been learning over Terms 1 & 2 in their dance classes.

All students will perform in their GOODHEW DANCE/READY SET DANCE/BALLET/ACRO uniform.

WHERE:

The Juniors – MAROUBRA, Cnr Anzac Pde and Haig St Maroubra

WHEN: SUNDAY 23th JUNE

THERE WILL BE 5 SESSIONS: 2 x Ready Set Dance and 3 x Goodhew Dance

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY TO SEE WHICH SESSION YOUR CHILD IS REQUIRED AT. 
SOME SCHOOL AGED STUDENTS WILL BE PERFORMING AT 2 SESSIONS SO PLEASE CROSS CHECK WITH THE AMOUNT OF CLASSES YOUR CHILD ATTENDS.

Please note for Ready Set Dance Classes:

Ages 2-4 Group = any child age 2,3,4 in preschool, and remaining in preschool in 2025.

Pre Kinder Group = any child aged 4 or 5, moving to Kindergarten in 2025.

SESSION NO. 1: SUNDAY 23rd JUNE, 2024 11.00am-12.00pm

Classes performing in this session are:

**READY SET DANCE Tuesday and all READY SET ACRO Tuesday students.

**READY SET DANCE Wednesday.

**READY SET ACRO Ages 2-4 Saturday

**READY SET DANCE Ages 2-4 Saturday 9.30am (Miss Chloe's class)

**READY SET BALLET Ages 2-4 Saturday.

SESSION NO. 2: SUNDAY 23rd JUNE, 2024 -1.00pm - 2.00pm

Classes performing in this session are:

**READY SET DANCE Thursday.

**READY SET ACRO Pre Kinder Saturdays

**READY SET DANCE Pre Kinder Saturdays (Miss Daniela's class)

**READY SET BALLET Pre Kinder Saturdays.

SESSION NO. 3: SUNDAY 23rd JUNE, 2024 3.00pm - 4pm

GOODHEW DANCE classes performing in this session are:

SATURDAY CLASSES : Kinder Ballet/Tap/Jazz, YR1/2 Ballet/Tap/Jazz, Acrobatics K-3,

TUESDAY CLASSES: Acrobatics K-2, Hip Hop K-2

WEDNESDAY CLASSES: K-2 ballet/Jazz combo, Mini Showgroup

SESSION NO. 4: SUNDAY 23rd JUNE, 2024 5pm - 6pm 

GOODHEW DANCE classes performing in this session are:

Tuesday Classes: HipHop Yr3-6, Acro Yr3-6,

Wednesday Classes: Contemporary (Yr 3-6), Ballet(Yr 3-6), Pre pointe

Thursday Classes: Gr 2 Tap/Jazz, Grade 3 Tap,Jazz), 10/u, 12/u Showgroup

Saturday Classes: Street Tap Yr 3-6, Acro Yr 3-6 , JFH Yr3-6, Musical Theatre K-6, 

SESSION NO. 5: SUNDAY 23rd JUNE, 2023 7.00pm - 8.00pm

GOODHEW DANCE classes performing in this session are:

Tuesday Classes: Highschool Hip Hop, Ballet - yr6-Highschool

Wednesday Classes: Ballet(Highschool), Pointe , Commercial Jazz(Highschool), Contemporary(Highschool) Adult Tap

Thursday Classes: Senior Showgroup,  Stars Tap,  Stars Jazz

Saturday Classes:  JFH - Highschool, Street Tap - Highschool , Advanced Acrobatics, Musical Theatre - Highschool

TICKETS:

SPECTATOR TICKETS must be purchased in advance of the event and are available from Trybooking from Monday 3rd June.

Adult Tickets: $28 each – the same adult can attend any session on the day. (Tickets are NOT transferrable to another adult)

Spectator Children under 12 yrs: FREE ADMISSION – please register for seating purposes.

All Performers are FREE to watch any session -Please register your performer if watching as a child spectator.

Performers - no need to register if performing in the session.

General Admission - Doors open 15 mins prior to session commencing - Performers to arrive ready with guests.

WHAT TO WEAR:

All students will perform in their GOODHEW DANCE/READY SET DANCE uniform.

GOODHEW DANCE UNIFORM:

Your choice of Purple Leotard, Crossover, Tan or Pink Tights, Goodhew Branded: Bikepants, Long tights, Tshirt, Singlet, Shorts

Ballet Students are to perform their Goodhew Leotard and Ballet skirt(pink ballet tights optional)

SHOES: Bring all dance shoes

HAIR: own choice- Neatly styled with GOODHEW Hair Accessory

READY SET DANCE UNIFORM:

RSD Dress or RSD Tshirt and Shorts, Socks

SHOES: Girls: Ballet and Tap Shoes, Boys: Sneakers and Tap Shoes

HAIR: own choice, neatly styled with RSD Hair Accessory

READY SET BALLET UNIFORM:

RSD Dress and Pink Tulle Tutu(worn over the dress), Socks, Ballet shoes

HAIR: own choice, neatly styled with RSD Hair Accessory
