The Australasian Orchestra's (AO's) grand mid-year concert features Antonín Dvořák's beloved Symphony No. 9 ("From the New World"). A small entrée of Les Toréadors from Georges Bizet's Carmen will open the concert, before "Ghost" by Aksuna (Natasha Lin, previous AO soloist) and then Max Bruch's wonderful Double Concerto for Clarinet, Viola, and Orchestra in E minor performed by AO section leaders (& seasoned professionals) Aaron Klein (clarinet) & Rebecca Parfitt (viola) as the soloists. The concert's conductor is AO Artistic Director Robert Dora.The concert starts at the special time of 5pm. See you then!
