Winter Wattle Walk
About
Join us for a beautiful winter walk on the Diamond Creek Trail.We will meet at Watsonia train station and take the train to Wattle Glen train station. From there we will walk the scenic walking trail to Hurstbridge with the wattles in bloom. It is approximately 4 km long. The walk will finish at Hurstbridge. Participants are welcome to explore the the quaint village of Hurstbridge with its interesting shops, delicious eateries and rich history and natural beauty. Alternatively, you can take the train back to Watsonia.
The trail is mostly flat with one incline and rough underfoot between the station and the start of the path. Medium level of fitness will be required.
Please carry a water bottle, snack if you need and dress for the weather.
There are plenty of places to purchase lunch if you need in Hurstbridge.
