The Heritage Collective is excited to announce the inaugural Artist in Residence project with artist; Angela Rossen.This is a free event. Angela Rossen will discuss her experience as both an artist and a biodiversity educator. As well as her studio practice, she has worked with marine biologists in the School of the Biological Sciences at UWA for fifteen years as a science communicator. She also holds the position of Adjunct Artist with the Australian Institute of Marine Science. Whilst working alongside her scientific colleagues Angela has created an opus of artworks on near shore marine biodiversity.
As Artist in Residence with The Heritage Collective, Angela will be inviting with people from all walks of life throughout the community to take part in a program of exciting events over the coming months. The residency will conclude with a survey exhibition of nature studies created by the participants documenting all the living things of the coastal environment.
