School’s Out: Make a Sculpture (ages 7–10)
Shape! Make! Create! Make the most of the school holidays by making art at the Jewish Museum of Australia.
Use your imagination to transform recyclable materials into a colourful sculpture inspired by the works on show in the JMA’s latest exhibition: Where We Are by Andrew Rogers.
Just like Rogers uses in his enormous land-art installations across Earth, you will use sustainable* materials to build your own unique artwork!
Enjoy morning tea at the Museum and a guided tour of Where We Are.
*Eco-friendly materials will be used in this activity in keeping with Andrew Rogers’ practice. The sculptural works created on the day can easily be recycled and have the ability (just like Rogers’ works) to erode and break down over time.
