WHORL REGISTRATION
Mandurah Arts Festival 2024
WHORL is a new seated dance performance opportunity open to all members of the community. It is a seated dance performance inspired by the spiral patterns found in coastal shells, botanical structures and in our own fott/finger prinnts.
WHORL will be performed on chairs, placed in a spiral formation. Performances will be guided by professional dance artists who you will be able to see clearly. These 'dancer-guides' dancers will lead you through the gentle movement, so you don't even have to remember the sequence - there will always be someone to follow.
We invite all community members to be part of this wonderful performance opportunity!
FIVE EASY STEPS
1. Fill in this booking form to register. Each performer will need to register their details.
2. Once you have been registered and confirmed, you will be emailed a link to the online choreography.
3. You learn the choreography, safely, in your own time and space.
4. You need to attend the Community Rehearsals to meet the creative team and rehearse the movement together.
