HEN @ Yarra Ranges Tech School - 3D Printing and Electronics
A double program of facilitated sessions, at the Yarra Ranges Tech School. These sessions are open to Home Educated students in the Yarra Ranges region for ages 12 years and above. Each session goes for two hours, with a lunch break in between.
3D Printing
Your imagination is the limit in this two hour 3D modelling tech taster! Get ready to learn the basics of 3D design using the easy to learn Tinkercad software to create your very own 3D model! Once you've learned to use the modelling software you will be able to start prototyping and get your model printed using one of our high quality 3D Printers.
Electronics and Code
Harness the power of littleBits, small modular electronic building blocks, and embark on a dynamic journey of programming electronic circuits! You will master block coding, enabling you to control and manipulate data logging, LED animations, and more. This session also extends into the realm of wearable technology, fostering an understanding of integrating technology into everyday objects. With an emphasis on electronics, coding, and design, you will be equipped to navigate future pathways in technology, engineering, and innovative design.
