The Complete John Cage Variations Project

Decibel rework the eight John Cage 'Variations' into a single, 55 minute program without interval, using a combination of contemporary technologies in conjunction with elements of the original analogue sound production required for the works. This involves new score materials that are projected for the audience, interactive devices, networked approaches, no-input systems and new choreography.
The event is the launch of a new edited book on the Variations, a complete recording on CD published by MODE, NYC, and software distributed on the Apple App Store, that facilitates the reading of these scores.
The books will be on sale at the concert at a discount price of $30.
