Authors Talks Pass
It's important to us that Words in Winter events be accessible to the community no matter your budget. Most of the festival events are free to the public, and we ask for a small donation to support the festival.
The festival is run by a committee of local volunteers and covers our costs through ticket sales to out featured events like the Gala, small council grants and donations at the door of our free community events.
You can support the writers you see financially by buying their books at the festival.
This year, when you buy an 'authors talks pass' for $25 you can support the festival remaining open to all word-lovers of all budgets and get priority seating at all 'by donation' events being held at the Masonic Hall throughout the festival.
