Words in Winter is thrilled that Annie Smithers, chef, teacher, restaurateur, ‘de fermier’ farmer, and author, has chosen to officially launch her fourth book, Kitchen Sentimental, as part of the festival. Widely known for her integrity in the provenance of food, Annie is an inspirational powerhouse and a delight as a speaker. Catering will be by Emma James: gather over a glass of sparkling with a 3 course dinner including canapés, hearty winter braises, roasts and seasonally inspired side dishes, finishing with platters of mini desserts and cakes, tea and coffee.
